Han-G

Han-G (Gorkem) is a turkish artist composer/singer and multi-instrumentist who started his music initiation by taking piano lessons at the age of 6 and making his first ever public appearance in 2006 on a tv contest called ” the Konusarock show ” where he won the 1st price by popular vote.

From 2008 to 2012 he studied Art/Opera and orchestration at Hacettepe University in Ankara. From 2012 to 2016 he completed his cursus in the Jazz/Vocal section.
While still studying, in 2011, at 20 years old, he gets the chance to sign his first record deal at Sony Music in Turkey with ENKAZ the rock band he put up together with friends from University. Their first single ” ASLINDA” written by Görkem, reached the N°1 spot in the turkish charts for 4 weeks.
After a year of touring, the band splitted and Görkem started to turn himself into electronic music.

Between 2013 and 2015 he released no less than 13 deep house singles and became a very popular DJ in his country. His last production – OCEAN – has been remixed more than 10 times around the world and sampled by a couple of american rappers on their own projects.
The song has now reached more than 3 millions views and allowed him to be spotted by Universal music France.
